TW: death

Sorry for those who get this twice since it's on the system journal in other words too. Also, I'm on mobile so I can't add a cut usually would.

My system is in the midst of having lost our bio grandfather. We are dealing with grief, family feuds, trying to keep our grandmother well, being almost constantly out of town, and not having laptop access often. Please consider this my hiatus notice for dw. I heart my reading list but I am not able to keep up with reading right now.

Today's songs I heard on the radio and thought were interesting. I was SO upset when I found out I couldn't post these from our phone because our phone won't let us type in this here word box thing on DW. But! I can post them now and that makes me happy.

I heard this while out driving today. I liked it so I'm putting it here. I think I might have heard a different version? I'm not sure. I'll try to figure that part out another day.

Imagine that the bedtime story Little Red Riding Hood was an allegory for a violent political takeover after the good queen died and left it to her heirs - a human and a werewolf. Now pretend that that bedtime story was spread around by the winning side as propaganda to try to justify the mass genocide of werewolves taking place.

Or don't imagine it. Think happy thoughts instead. I know I do.
